King was born in the first litter of
his dam Aust Ch Kimberwalli Copper Lass. One of 6 pups and weighing in
at just 100 grams he was the smallest pup in the litter. At nine weeks
of age King and his sister contracted Corona virus, the battle began and
through the extremely hard work of my father we managed to pull King through
but tragically we lost his sister.
King truly won hearts where ever he
went, a true show dog and even better best friend.
He was titled at 13 months of age and
throughout his short show career amassed 244 points many classes in group and
a few in show awards.
He sired only a few litters but
produced many beautiful pups many of which have contributed greatly to this breed.
A total 7 pups went onto become Australian Champions under both our old prefix
Kimberwalli and our new one of Palana.
King's breeding has become the corner
stone of this kennel, and he is admired by many people still throughout
the world.
On August 22,
2003 the decision was heartbreakingly made to put King to sleep due to his
rapid decline in health.
He was 13
years and 4 days old.
Rest in
peace my little man you will never be forgotten.

God
looked around his Garden and found an empty place.
He then looked down upon his earth and saw your loving face.
He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest.
His Garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering, he knew you were in pain.
And knew that you would never get well on earth again.
He saw your path was difficult, he closed you tired eyes,
He whispered to you "Peace be Thine" and gave you wings to fly.
When we saw you sleeping so calm and free of pain,
We would not wish you back to earth to suffer once again.
You've left us precious memories, your love will be our guide,
You live on through your children, you're always by our side.
It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you on the day God called you home

Rest in
peace my little man you will never be forgotten.
Your flame
may be out
But your
fire burns bright in each generation
